What drew you to a career at Cyara originally and how has the company changed since you joined us?
I was drawn to Cyara for a couple of reasons. First, I was drawn to the level of professionalism I experienced with our employees. Secondly, I was impressed with the consistency with which our customers renew their contracts and express benefits from our software.
What does a typical day look like for you and what are you currently working on?
I work remotely from my home. My Manager is also remote out of Chicago. Each day I reach out either through partners or directly to my named list and socialize the Cyara message. I attend external and internal meetings via zoom. I travel to meet with customers and business partners in an effort to secure revenue for Cyara.
Tell us about your work life harmony at Cyara?
I appreciate Cyara’s “family first” work philosophy. I am a wife and a mom in addition to being a Cyara employee and when I am given the opportunity to make home a priority it frees me up to focus more when I am at work. I think the “family first” attribute is one of Cyara’s finest cultural values.
Describe your current role at Cyara
I am a Senior Account Executive here at Cyara. I am responsible for taking Cyara software into a defined list of named accounts against an annual quota.
How would you describe the culture at Cyara?
Cyara employees are engaged and professional. Management here is thoughtful, seasoned and experienced. I have been impressed that upper management proactively welcomes and encourages candid feedback.
What has been the most empowering moment in your Cyara career journey?
One of the most empowering moments here at Cyara happened to me when I was account-mapping with a former colleague from Genesys. After identifying accounts we could work together, we leveraged the relationship to set up several meetings and demos shortening the Cyara sales process significantly. I left that encounter encouraged that our partner strategy is strong.
What are you passionate about in your role?
I am passionate about selling with partners to shorten sale cycles, and increase our reach and scale. Luckily Cyara has strong vehicles in place to leverage and grow the strength of the partner community.
How does Cyara help support your sense of purpose in your career?
I like working towards a common goal with people I enjoy and respect. It’s exciting to help build and contribute to a company’s revenue and growth. To me Cyara is a place I can do both!
What have you gained from working at Cyara from a career perspective?
In the past I have always sold standard contact center communication platforms. Cyara is building on that experience and broadening my purview to now include advanced CX testing into the fortune 200. It’s a great experience.
