What drew you to a career at Cyara originally and how has the company changed since?
I had just moved from Argentina to Australia and was very keen to start a career in the IT industry. The company has grown significantly since I started and has a clear view in what direction we’re headed. It’s an exciting time to join Cyara!
What does a typical day look like for you and what are you currently working on?
A typical day for me is constantly engaging with new prospects and customers. Doing research to see what’s happening in the ANZ market and being aware of any major business transformations. I love the work that we’re currently doing as an organisation around the value drivers and upping our game with value driven conversations.
Tell us about your work life harmony at Cyara?
Cyara has a very flexible work environment and the way that I disconnect after a day of calls and my computer is getting at least one work out in per day! Whether it’s my F45 classes, going for a run or just for a walk. Exercise plays such a huge part in our mental health!
Describe your current role at Cyara
I work in Business Development and bring new opportunities to the Sales team in ANZ. I also work closely with the Marketing team on new lead generation activities for the region. The Sales ANZ team is a very energetic, small, close-knit group and has a great leader, Stephen Mitchell.
How would you describe the culture at Cyara?
It’s hard to just think of one but the two that I think best fits with the culture is Innovative and Fun. We are constantly evolving as a company and there are such great people that work here that makes the environment so enjoyable (even when we’re in lock down!).
What has been the most empowering moment in your Cyara career journey?
My most empowering moment has been making a career move at Cyara. I started here almost 5 years ago when I was just beginning my professional working career. I was still figuring out where I could see my career taking me. I worked with Alok for many years who was a great mentor and the role exposed me to different areas of the business. I have always been extremely driven to grow professionally and with the right support I was able to make this move.
What are you passionate about in your role?
I am a people person and love connecting with new target accounts. It’s really fulfilling when you get engaged with a new prospect. What we provide to organisations really helps them so it’s fantastic work for a company where you believe in what you’re offering.

How has Cyara’s global approach to diversity helped you in your career so far?
Cyara has exposed me to many different cultures that has been amazing to experience. It’s not just great to be exposed to different customs and people, but also the initiatives that Cyara encourages to celebrate our individualism and the sense of community. You are given many opportunities to connect with your fellow colleagues like groups that you can join that have even shifted to an online forum with the pandemic. We have several slack channels like a wine club, running club, BBQ, and art appreciation channel to name a few. It’s great to connect with your peers globally and share a common interest!
